CargoDocs Process Overview

CargoDocs follows best-paper processes for managing electronic bills of lading. For a carrier there are two sub-processes:

Origin

Sharing a draft eBoL/SWB for approval of the shipper; signing and issuing the original eBoL/SWB.

Destination

Receiving the surrendered original electronic bill of lading.

CargoDocs also enables carriers to undertake the actions as per paper such as:

• Manage Amendment Requests or Splits of an eBoL.
• Void an eBoL.
• Convert an eBoL to Paper.
